About the Role:
As a Business Analyst, reporting to the Manager, Organisation and Methods Analytics, you will play a fundamental role in enhancing the utilisation of a range of data sets within the business.
You will also be assisting in the successful operation of our FiNDnet system which manages turnaround operations and billing. You will work across multiple teams and play a vital role in data analysis, reporting, process improvements and system management.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Data Analysis
- Maintain and advance any current Power BI dashboard and reporting metrics
- Identify new opportunities for data collection, analysis and reporting to help foster data-driven decision making
- Generate and distribute critical reports, including monthly national performance and OTP reports
- Manage ad-hoc data requests to support operational needs
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of digital data collection tools
- Collaborate across business streams, providing data support for project requests and commercial queries
FiNDnet System Management & Support
- Oversee daily data validation and cross-checking to ensure accuracy
- Capture and clarify missing information in collaboration with airport staff
- Implement and support new charges and services to ensure alignment with billing rates
- Monitor system performance
- Facilitate the implementation of the FiNDnet System
- Provide training sessions during rollouts to ensure effective system usage
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Aviation, Business/Commerce
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in business analysis or a related field (minimum 1 year)
- High proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (experience with Power BI is a must)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges
- Previous experience working in the Aviation industry would be advantageous
- Previous experience with API integration would be advantageous
- Willingness to do interstate travelling
