Excelraise, LLC is seeking an NCDIT – Business Analyst – Junior for our client in 3700 Wake Forest Rd Raleigh NC.

The Department of Information Technology (DIT) for the State of North Carolina is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support app rationalization efforts and business architecture initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across various state departments to analyze, optimize, and consolidate the portfolio of applications and IT systems. This role will be key to aligning technology with business strategies and ensuring that the state’s digital infrastructure is efficient, scalable, and cost-effective.

Skills

Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on application portfolio management, business architecture, and/or IT strategy.
Proven experience in app rationalization or business architecture efforts, especially in large, complex organizations or public sector environments.
Strong understanding of business processes, systems integration, and the software development lifecycle.
An overall knowledge and understanding of application development.
Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts.
Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/products.
Able to identify best practices and standards for the use of the product.
Delivers support and design for industry specific applications that require integration with statewide systems or applications.
Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts.
Proven experience with a technical specialty across large and complex implementations and systems.
