Our client in Pretoria is urgently seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst with a strong background in digital transformation (preferably within the telecommunications industry or background). The ideal candidate brings expertise in business and systems analysis and thrives in high-pressure environments. This role involves a mix of customer service and requirements management, working closely with teams to define and manage both business and systems requirements.
This is a hybrid long term contracting position:
As the Business Analyst, this role conducts thorough reviews of system software updates, identifying those requiring action. Responsibilities include tailoring system software to optimize hardware functionality, overseeing the installation and testing of new software versions, and investigating and coordinating the resolution of potential and actual service issues. Additionally, a key focus is on preparing and maintaining operational documentation for system software upgrades or downgrades.

As a IT Business Analyst, you will:

Understand and optimize complex technical systems, supporting customers in enhancing their technical capabilities.
Empower businesses through digital transformation, ensuring that new product designs align with business objectives.
Supervise the design and evaluation of new products, write functional specifications, and conduct thorough testing of product processes and calculations.
Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve system issues effectively.
